This is the 3rd tip in our eBook How to Play Craps – 11 Rolls to Win.

The craps table is easy to see and HEAR!

It’s usually where the excitement gathers. Everyone is standing around the table including four casino employees. It is long, green and covered in a felt-printed betting diagram. The center of the table is where the hardways and one roll bets can be placed.

The ends of the table have many sections where bets can be placed. The most popular are:

  • Pass line
  • Come
  • Place
  • Field
  • various other bets

The craps table may be a bit overwhelming since there are so many different areas where bets can be made. However, it’s not as confusing as it may seem. Keep in mind that the ends of the table are exactly the same so more players can join in on the fun!

It’s good to know that there is a type of craps in which only one bet is played. This is known as basic craps play. The pass line bet is the only bet played and it’s placed on only one area of the craps table.
